Voces Arts and Healing a collective of expressive arts therapists and psychotherapists dedicated to supporting the psychological, educational, nutritional, and social needs of asylum seekers residing throughout shelters in Juarez Mexico.

Devon is a part of this team and produced these videos after the first two trips to the border. A third trip took place prior to covid-19. Through the pandemic Voces provided mentorship and supervision to workers on the ground in Juarez. The team  also created some training programming to provide to a variety of helping professionals helping asylum seekers at the southern border. Work continues in these areas and plans to resume trips to the border are in the works for Fall 2023.
